Downtown Louisville has...a lot of hipsters. A lot more than I expected. Also, Feast BBQ is fantastic.

Louisville is pretty noice. Both it and Indy are the closest bigish cities near me. (I'm an hour away from both of them)

If you’re OK with wading through a bunch of hipsters, Sunergos makes a fantastic cup of coffee.

Louis ville is a damn fine food town. Sadly, Smoketown USA closed in 2016... I don’ t know what the chef is up to now, but at the time of closure he said “I’ll still be involved in the food sce ne”

Don’t forget to get a Hot Brown.
Also, visit the bat factory. Even if you’re not into baseball, it’s still pretty neat.

It’s funny you mention getting a hot brown - one of the guys here said he’s been in Louisville his whole life and never has had a hot brown.

I’m so late to this party I’m not even fashionable. “He’s dishevel dly late” I’ve heard them say. Downtown, a few blocks form the Brow n Hotel, is a GREAT Mediterranean place. Just go there next time you have a chance. And If I had a layover there int this time I would have delivered notification of such a thing. I hope you had a good time.
